I have taken several years out of exhibiting and entering art shows in order to devote more time to developing my art. I traveled to Europe as well as to the South West. Because of this I became more in tune with my own spirituality and purpose of art. I must be honest and genuinely authentic. I also realized that if I stop learning and developing my paintings I need to reassess my artistic goals and begin anew.

In a two man show I had with my long time good friend Tom Owen, Richard Maschal, art critic for the Charlotte Observer, wrote of my work “Pitsikoulis gives weigh and depth to a cloud flecked blue sky and miracle of art it is possible to look at it and glimpse what he felt.”
